Mit ihrer “Miles Apart EP” haben Existance neunte Release auf Cut Music und das erste für das neue Jahr 2012 ins Netz gestellt. Unter dem “name-your-price/pay-with-a-tweet“ Modell gibt es tiefe, schwer entspannte Beats, spürbare Dubstep Einflüsse und Pianosounds verteilt auf insgesamt drei Tracks. Der Titelgebende Track “Miles Apart” erinnert mich stellenweise stark an den Kraftfuttermischwerk Remix von des Entertainment for the Braindeads “Run”.
“Taking a clear nod from the classic sound of dubstep, as well as continuing the emotive sounds of our existing Cut catalogue, Louis brings us three excellent pieces from the vocal-led “Miles Apart” to the piano-driven bliss of Pelennor Fields.
His sample, synth, bass and drum selections fit very well together, and his ear for a great melody and strong but not overbearing bassline is evident on the EP.”
